Data Storage

All your habit data is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that receive or store your information. Your habits, check-ins, notes, and achievements never leave your phone unless you explicitly choose to share them.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit technology. This means:

• Your data is encrypted and protected by Apple
• Only you can access it through your Apple ID
• We cannot see, access, or read your synced data
• Your data syncs only to your other Apple devices

Photos Access

Gentle requests photo library access only when you choose to save a monthly report image. We:

• Only write images you explicitly save
• Never read or access your existing photos
• Don't upload photos anywhere

Notifications

Daily reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers. All notification preferences are stored on your device only.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or crash reporting tools. We have no idea who you are, how often you use the app, or what habits you're building. That's intentional.

Third-Party Services

Gentle does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or advertising networks. There are no hidden trackers or data brokers involved.

Data Sharing

We don't share your data with anyone because we don't have your data. The only way your information leaves your device is if you:

• Share a monthly report via the share sheet
• Enable iCloud sync (to your own account)

Children's Privacy

Gentle does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app contains no account creation, social features, or data collection mechanisms.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date. Given our commitment to not collecting data, significant changes are unlikely.
