Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the ZenWall mobile application ("App") operated by ZenWall ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ZenWall, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ZenWall is a productivity application designed to help users maintain focus by blocking screen access during designated focus sessions. The App provides:

• Screen blocking during focus sessions
• A friction-based unlock mechanism
• Pomodoro timer functionality
• Notification filtering with whitelist capabilities
• Focus statistics and tracking
• Home screen and lock screen widgets

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ZenWall. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent any security features of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App

6. User Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Emergency Access: While ZenWall blocks screen access, iOS emergency calling features (Emergency SOS) remain accessible. However, you are responsible for ensuring you can access your device in genuine emergencies.
• Important Notifications: You are responsible for configuring your whitelist to ensure critical contacts and apps can reach you during focus sessions.
• Device Control: You maintain ultimate control over your device. The unlock mechanism, while intentionally challenging, is always completable.
• Appropriate Use: ZenWall should not be used in situations where immediate phone access may be required for safety reasons.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ZenWall and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Apple's iOS services including Screen Time API, Focus Mode, and WidgetKit. Your use of these features is also subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any third-party services or their availability.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Subscriptions and Purchases

If the App offers premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be compatible with all devices or iOS versions

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ZENWALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Missed communications or notifications
• Any inability to access your device
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZenWall and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App will cease immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ZenWall operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ZenWall regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
